Fluid's quality control helps
The inspiration for the food and design at Côte restaurants is a modern interpretation of the many famous brasseries of Paris. Inspired by new trends, the UK high street chain is dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; it is noted by restaurant critics for its dedication to service.
To have a reliable team of cleaning professionals on hand is crucial to business continuity and ensures Côte’s pride of delivery to its 130,000 customers a week.
Fluid has been the restaurant’s contractor of choice since 2007, cleaning all 71 of the chain’s front of house areas. Due to long opening hours the opportunity for cleaning is short, between midnight and 8am, so cleaning teams have to work throughout the night in order to keep the premises open for business, all day every day. Fluid operatives also carry out specialist works including curtain steam cleaning, jet-washing of patios, awnings and kitchen deep cleaning on behalf of the chain.
Maintaining commercial continuity is of key importance to Fluid’s clients and Côte is no exception. By making quality control a focus of service delivery brings a cost effective solution to keeping tables turning and bringing customer satisfaction. Fluid’s VPS system approaches commercial hygiene and presentation in three parts in order to apply best practice principles in its working practices.
With our dedication to understanding health and safety regulations and the industry requirements for contract cleaning services, we are able to provide our clients with appropriate solutions at a reasonable cost. ”
Alister Gregson, Managing Director, Fluid Hygiene
Having a response within the hour, at any time of day, through the 24 hour help desk has been found to be useful for the Brasserie’s in-house teams. Close working relationships and trustworthy operatives make regular access to premises during trading downtime an easier arrangement for in-house staff. Team working is as important as feedback from customers. Uniformed professional operatives have even sourced silent hoovers to avoid disturbing the neighbours during night cleaning on Côte’s sites.
The Côte brasserie atmosphere is informal and elegant with décor to match. The use of ecologically sound and Ph neutral products protect the brasserie’s delicate wood furnishings from tarnishing and steam cleaning maintains the restaurants fine drapery, despite everyday use.
Fluid’s continual health & safety checks and thorough risk assessments ensure that statutory obligations are always adhered to and meet the restaurant’s requirements, though data sheet cross checking. Fluid carries out audits on a regular basis for front of house cleaning, which is also checked regularly by a team Supervisor. Specialist cleaning is confirmed on completion of work so that feedback is gained, identifying any issues in advance.
