Everyman is spearheading the revival of independent cinema in the UK. As one of the fastest growing independent networks in the UK, Everyman will be expanding to numerous new sites in the next two-years. Present venues range from the iconic 100-year-old Screen on the Green, to one of the UK’s smallest cinema in Kings Cross, London. Reliable Nationwide Cleaning
Lauren Barnett, Head of Operations at Everyman had previously experienced the benefit of ‘The Fluid Way’ at one of Fluid’s other clients, Cote Brasserie. Following her move to Everyman, Lauren contacted Fluid to assist with their cinema cleaning.
When Lauren started with Everyman there were several other cleaning companies who were able to provide individual aspects of the cleaning, or who would sub-contract some of the work to other firms. This approach produced varying standards of work and reliability across the venues. Some companies were only able to clean Everyman cinemas in their area, or they could only provide certain aspects of the work, meaning that the Head of Operations would have to identify and engage companies from around the country. For an expanding cinema group, this was an unsatisfactory solution. But by working with Fluid, Everyman could be assured of a nationwide, more than satisfactory alternative supplier, for all of their cleaning needs.
Keeping Up Appearances
Everyman, which owns some of London’s oldest cinemas, attracts discerning cinema-goers nationwide, by offering table-service in the cinemas, a waiter-service bar and plush seats in all venues. Clean and comfortable seats in the auditorium and a fantastic all-round hospitality experience is key to attracting and retaining audiences in a highly competitive market.
In addition, Everyman has developed multi-use lobby areas, licensed bars and a new food concept - a dine-in restaurant brand, Spielburger, which has opened next door to Everyman Hampstead, and in-house in the Barnet cinema. Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of multiple areas, seven days a week demands commitment and passion for high standards of commercial cleaning.

Whole Building Solutions
Fluid carries out daily cleaning of the screens and all other customer areas across 20 venues, each morning in time for opening and overnight where required. Fluid’s fully trained and professional teams provide quick and effective daily and weekly contract cleaning, as well as carpet and upholstery, kitchen, window and high level cleaning to the very highest standards and in accordance with all relevant legislation.
Fluid cleaning teams carry out work when the venues are closed. This includes front of house and back of house areas.
